F-35 Flightplans

Post by Jon »

I worked up some flight plans for the F-35. Based at Elgin currently they'll make appearance at Tyndall, Edwards, Randolph, and Luke AFBs.

Thanks downloaded earlier. I can't wait for the paints to be available, I am sure people are working hard on them right now!

Almost complete, I've re textured just about everything and added some more details. It's not done as there is still more to include.

Just a thought. You guys might want to send some over to Fort Worth JRB. The F-35 is a pretty common sight there these days.

I was in the middle of knocking these up anyway so added Fort Worth JRB to the plans.

Any problems give me a shout.

How about Luke AFB? They just got I think 3 or 4 squadrons on permanent station. We can't forget about my favorite people, the English, who not only host Richard Dawkins, terrible weather and beautiful women but also now their own permanent squadron of F-35's @ Lossiemouth. I am going to PM Mark Heimer and ask him for a UK repaint, all it consists of is like 5 numbers on the rear of one side of the jet from what i have seen unless they have changed it. I will get on that now.

The only UK birds in use right now are the -35Bs at Eglin. This model is the -35A. That's why no USMC, USN or UK paints yet.

Not sure of the AI F-35B development stage. I think the main model is done but not sure where it's at after that!

They will most likely stay like that until they return to the UK and will have the squadron stuff added once at their base

That UK version looks the best IMO. I think I like how they didn't use the regular RAF emblem, just the grey/white flag and the numbers, as with everything British, overachieved class and understated elegance. Sexy as hell.

I am an American for now but I am in love with everything British. I think I was born in the wrong country. I love everything about the UK, and next year I am planning on moving there and becoming a citizen.

My address will be the green tent on Cad West in the Mach Loop :smt005 . Cheerio mate! :smt006

You can move here on one condition, if you bring back some flying Harriers with you, maybe a B1 as well :D :D

Is that all? Sounds like a good deal! You didn't even ask for a B-2 or the F-22, or F-35 :D

I have as good of a shot getting those planes as I do getting a date with Sienna Miller when I get to London!!
