Kadena spotting

Post by delbydoo »

Thanks to Click's latest project, the ZZ's and their friends now have somewhere nice to hangout. Haven't got any C-130's in there yet, but they're comin'....

Hmmm... Those ZZ tailed tankers should be on the other side of the airport. Can you double check for me what their parking codes are... I may need to fix something.

I am hazarding a guess here, but it could be as simple as the parking codes in the aircraft.cfg are not the same as the ones in the afcad. Normally, in MAIW, you get an AAR unit with an 'A' in the designation so the unit would be 909A. If this is the case his aircraft would park according to size and type rather then the set 909. Either a config or afcad change would fix this.

This is the reason why it is best to have separate files when compiling using ADE so that users can take your parking information and adapt their system to match your intent.

You can't account for the parking setup for everyone.

Maybe it's just the time of the morning, but whatever happened to manners?
The link can be found on this page - http://www.militaryaiworks.com/newforum ... &start=100

Look for kadena.zip - you may have to SEARCH for it but it is at the bottom of the post by Click telling us all what libraries and paints are required......

Click - the codes were 909A on mine, that's how I downloaded them. I have now changed them to 909 and they're behaving now

Coolness. I must have changed mine at some time in the past. The E-3s should be parking in the revements in the background, so I probably changed those too. If someone would let me know what code the E-3 came with from MAIW, I'll upload a version of the afcad with the MAIW standard codes so everyone doesn't have to get all edity on things.

On my system they are 961A, but don't rule out me as changing them. I do that a lot.

I think I have done the C-130's. I'll have a look when I get home and upload them.
