IRIS HAWK T1

Post by dk1213 »

Hey has any FSX users successfully adapted the IRIS HAWK for Fsx at least so you can see through the cockpit? The FS9 version has awesome repaints, and I would like to just be able to use this plane in FSX.

Throwing it out there for someone smarter than me. Thanks!

Can't help with the IRIS Hawk, but suggest the T-45C Goshawk for FSX By Dino Cattaneo. There's a RN paint I use available. And it's free. Avsim and Flightsim.

+1 on Dino's, many hours in it around the boat and it should work well as a T1 stand in. Normally on Simviation there are several FSX port-overs from FS9, although these typically don't work 100% without some FPS hit. I searched and didn't see anything on the Iris/DSB model.

Dino's T-45 I have a ton of time in, but RAF Paints are slim. The FS9 Iris has alot of kick ass paints, but no go for FSX

For payware you could always spring for the Skysim model.

I was looking at the Skysim site forum postings. Most recent posts were a year ago and quite a few if not all prior to that were concerning installation problems and lack of support. It looked to be a nice aircraft, but I passed on it at the time due to the info.
