Tornado F3 Procedures Trainer/Simulator

Post by Stuart Case »

I have aquired the F3 P/T-Sim from RAF Leuchars. The cockpit is complete and has all of the original Rediffusion Sim Equipment. All of the flight controls have the POTS and 95% of the instruments can be interfaced. It is my hope to set up a facility in Cheshire which will be a virtual F3-OCU, which people can attend to experiance a day in the life of a Tornado pilot. I need lots of advice on how to set this project up which will include, Software, Projector, Screen etc. I hope that someone will contact me with a view discussing this project and possibly coming onboard.

Stuart.

Wow Stuart, that's a great project!

My suggestion: http://www.simpits.org join the mailling list, and let the madness begin :) On the mailing list are guys interfacing real aircraft parts, as well as designing and building their own parts... lots and lots of free advise from a lot of really smart people :)
