Does anyone know if the Military AI packages ( or any AI aircraft / packages) work in Prepar3d?
I won't make the switch if I can't have my AI.

You will meet the same challenges you have with FSX, but yes if you know your way around all components of FS then you can make it work.Reggie wrote:Does anyone know if the Military AI packages ( or any AI aircraft / packages) work in Prepar3d?

Reggie, you can say it works as good (most things) and as bad (props, alpha channels) as in FSX - see my first series in P3D.
Cheers,

Thanks gentlemen, I think I've done pretty good converting the packages to FSX. If FSX is backward compatible with P3D, and looking at your screenshots, I may just give it a go.
Ya just gotta have your AI to make it "as real as it gets". I live on the Gulf Coast near KNPA, so every day is an airshow.

Reggie

Re: Military AI In Prepar3d
P3D is essentially a souped up FSX, so if it works in FSX, it should work in P3D. With v2 there's a minor issue with airports losing taxiways after editing them in ADEX, but that's being fixed at the moment (as I understand it, it's a compiling issue).
