Mark below is where you find the flight start screen for p3D V2, there is a known bug at present where the first time you launch it, you need to make sure your in window mode first or you get black screened. Once your flight has started you can then go to full screen. Here is the important bit when you have finished you P3D session go back to window mode before exit, this will then make your sim start in window mode the next time you launch. LM are working on a fix for this, as with the HDR issue also.djnocturnal wrote: Only thing I don't like is the game loads straight into a default flight in the F-22.
Hope this helps.Go into your settings for realism, where you change your aircraft, atc, stuff like that, you will see bottom right you will see mission startup or something like that.
Just click and everytime it starts, it looks like fsx...
Yeah, you would need a DirectX 11 compatible card with 1gb memory minimum.Joseph29 wrote:Looks good.
I have a old graphic card (GeForce GTX 275) and unfortunately it can not handle Prepar3d.
Do you mean DX10 preview vs. default DX9? Then I agree, otherwise I have obviously missed something important.John Young wrote:Dx11 Preview in FSX gives a far better frame rate than the default Dx10 if you have a compatible card
Hey Martin, V2 only runs in DirectX 11.gsnde wrote:You lost me on all accounts, John.![]()

I am still way too green with P3D - is it so that if you have a DX11 compatible card P3D would work in DX11 mode automatically? Or do I have to enable this?
And why would I have to measure in windowed mode?
Must be a combined blond and senior moment I guess
Just got his 9, 10 and 11's mixed up I think...lolgsnde wrote:That's what I thought. Was John talking about P3D 1.x then?
