Was about to post about it, in case it had snuck under the radar. Getting CTD as well, but I'm in the process of narrowing down the culprit.
Don't forget to remove "Cannon2 Landclass.bgl" from the MAIW Landclass folder in addition the MAIW Cannon AFB scenery folder, if you've got the MAIW Cannon AFB package installed.

I believe if you do a search or look at the Cannon AFB Support page you will find a fix for this issue.

Scott, it's a new release by John Stinstrom
Cannon_VTPP.BGL seems to be the culprit and the scenery works fine without - albeit with a somewhat peculiar photoreal background

You guys are quick. About to test it in FSX. Great to see the MC-130J's, these are taking over AFSOC. Has anyone tested out JS's version of the traffic.bgl from the original MAIW pack?

Did anyone email John Stinstrom to let him know about the CTD problem?

Solution?
In scenery\world\texture.
copy: desert_golf.bmp
paste the copy
rename the copy: desert_golf_poly.bmp

Thanks for the tip John, that did the trick

Re: Cannon Air Force Base by John Stinstrom
I just installed this scenery. It is a nice update to the original KCVS scenery that came in the MAIW Cannon AFB pack.
I have a question about this file also. I am confused what the new traffic file changes. Does it just change the airports that home based aircraft visit? Does it change the plane types based at the airport?Victory103 wrote:Has anyone tested out JS's version of the traffic.bgl from the original MAIW pack?

As far as I can tell, the new traffic file only changes the destination airports. It doesn't change the units/aircraft based at Cannon.Joseph29 wrote:I have a question about this file also. Not worth changing, but slight typo for the MC-130J's, they are assigned to the "522nd SOS".
