Hi all .I have not been painting for a while but had some time and started on the JAI A-7E .
Here are some shots tell me what you think .If the feed back is good I mite start doing some units.
These shots are of VA-46 AG 1988 and AC 1991 tail code and VA-72 tail code AC..

Good work, those look great. I know there are some people on here that would really like some retro navy birds.

Looking good,
and also everything in gullgrey-over-white will be an instant download by me.
Do you intend to paint whole squadrons or specific examples only?
Too bad there is no model variant with folding wings, isn't there?
I would love to populate some carrier decks with Corsairs, Phantoms and Intruders.

Retro SLUFs looking good. There would be some interest outside of the MAIW forums as guys on SOH are doing retro USN bases and want period AI. Although I do like the VA-46 post Desert Storm paint, given the 25th anniversary just a few days ago.

OUTSTANDING! There's always room for the A-7. Perfect camo shade too.

I'd like to add my words of encouragement. Apart from the A-4 and F-4, there really hasn't been many options for Retro USN and the A-7E is a very welcome addition!!!

There are at least a dozen complete squadrons of retro NBAI F-14s and Michael Pearson did the F-8 Crusaders.

OK Guys thanks for the feedback.
I will start to paint some units.
I will start with the late 80's /90's then work backwards and see where we end up.
