Hi,

Now I have installed all US AF and Netherland KC-10s ov AIM and they are awsome!

I used the FPs for USAF of the two big KC-10 packages in the file library.

Anyway, I had du change two Regs

87-0123 former MaGuire in the KC-10 file is now based in Travis

86-0032 former Travis in the KC-10 file is now based in McGuire.

I only had to change the FP for these two regs which wwas prity easy.

BUt I noticed that the regs don`t match with the models

For example

87-0123 according to the AIM textures uses the wingpod model. But in reality the 87-0123 doesn`t have wingpods.

86-0033 has wingpods in reality but not in the AIM texture file assigned model.

So to correct them all it will take further lots of time.

Also I noticed that there are much more differences according the callsigns.

Anyhow, I don`t want to complain. Now I have only with B-52H, C-5,C-17,KC-10A over 50 aircrafts in Travis at the same time!

The final 20 KC-10s were fitted for carriage of the WARP (wing aerial refueling pod) for refueling multiple US Navy/USMC aircraft. They're removable and are not always fitted.

Here's the registrations of the final 20 KC-10s produced. All of these are able to carry the WARP. You'll notice that 87-0123 and 86-0033 are both included.

Changing between model types is as easy as changing the "model=" line in the aircraft config. There are four different models available. Make your choice and save the config. That's all there is to it. It shouldn't take you "lots of time".

[fltsim.58]
title=AIM McDonnell Douglas KC-10A Extender USAF 87-0123
sim=AIM KC10A
model=KC10 Wing Pod <---- change this line to whichever model you want
texture=USAF 87-0123
atc_id=87-0123
atc_airline=ORCA
atc_parking_codes=KC10
ui_manufacturer=AI Malcontent
ui_type=McDonnell Douglas KC-10A Extender
ui_variation=USAF 87-0123 (60th AMW, Travis AFB)
atc_flight_number=8723

------------- available models -------------

model=KC10 Fuel Boom

model=KC10 STATIC

model=KC10 Center Drogue

model=KC10 Wing Pod
