Civil AI packages with MAIW

Post by billby »

Hi All.
can anybody recommend civil ai package for FSX payware or freeware which works well with MAIW packages.
(i.e. does not have general aviation landing at the military airbases or that is easy to edit to prevent this happening).

Thank you
Dave

To be honest the most realistic type packages are the least likely to cause you issues. So anything by WoAI is good or producers that frequent the Alpha India Group.
There are going to be some mil bases that have civvie traffic. Off my head I can think of Colorado Springs (US) and Williamtown (Aus) that have scheduled traffic but most civvie planners avoid mil bases.

I use WoAI packages with FS9 and I think most are now useable with FSX. Easy to install if you don't mind out of date FPs. Alternatively search AVSIM for FPs in the FSX section.

Dave, user of most WoAI packages and many AIG flightplans lately with newer FSX happy files (FAIB models). I initially wanted to have each countries national carrier. Many of the joint use airfields that have correct civie parking can be mod'd to accept MAIW visitors at the appropriate ramps.
