P3D - Helicopter Lights/Effects

P3D - Helicopter Lights/Effects

Hi all,

As many of you I have some helis flying around at my sim(P3D).

Many off them, aircraft and helis, are designed for FS9, problems known but for the aircraft someone can change some effects in order to have active lights again.

I cannot find a solution for the helis, there are no entries at the "aircraft.cfg", the only ones I am seeing for the lights are the entries at "[electrical]" section, for example,

light_nav = 0, 5 , 17.0
light_beacon = 0, 5 , 17.0
light_landing = 0, 5 , 17.0
light_taxi = 0, 5 , 17.0
light_strobe = 0, 5 , 17.0
light_panel = 0, 5 , 17.0

Can we do something about it or the model has to be designed for P3D in order to work.

If the model has been made to lift off like a normal helicopter then you cannot use the normal lights used on a fixed wing model. The lights are coded into the model so they remain with it.
