Hit a little bit of a snag with something I'm working on.
I'm finding that AI traffic are sinking after landing into the ground so that the wheels are no longer visible anymore. They are fine when everything loads up, it's just when the land and taxi in.
I'm not sure what it could be as I have ensured there is a Flatten applied in ADE and that it is compiled for the right sim.
That is the classic case that the afcad is at a different height to the default afcad.
I would double check the file you created. It is not specifically a flatten you need but an alt file that alters the height. If you just created a flatten then I don't believe that will solve your issue. Some of our packages had alt files in them.
I believe that it is as simple as altering the height of the airfield that will create the file, at least that is the case with AFX.

The difference in altitude would be between two airport sources, the default airport and your project.
The elevation of the runways and taxiways will be the same as your airport elevation of your project.
The elevation of the flatten must be changed to be the same as that of the airport you are working on.
It should default to the elevation of the project when you first make it. This must be changed manually when you change the airport elevation.
When your project is at a different elevation to the default airport is when your AI start sinking or floating.
The ALT.bgl file must go to the first scenery file loaded when flight sim boots up to fix this.
The only other explanation is that you have a custom airport surface and you have two files at different altitudes.
So the AI stay on the "afcad" but a new elevation is loaded for the scenery surface and that surface is higher or lower than the first.
Other than that, I know too little about it to be of any help.
I have still had no joy. The only way I have been able to fix it is by placing a taxiway on the runway. Now you can't see the taxiways so I don't see it as an issue but there is still something wrong that I can't quite solve.
