I put them all in a folder titled "AI Aircraft" and placed it in the "SimObjects" folder. Then find your "Simobjects.cfg" file, open it with notepad, and enter the following as the last entry:

[Entry.10]
PATH=SimObjects\AI Aircraft
TITLE=AI Aircraft
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=true

The simobjects.cfg file is found under C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v6\

I would make a copy of the Simobjects.cfg file before I opened it.

Someone may have a better way. I hope this helps.

Cheers,

I have mine in a folder outside the sim.

You can put the folder anywhere and then just point the PATH line in Reggie's reply to its location.

I am trying to figure out why my AI Aircraft are not showing up. Do I not place the flightplans in the same place as I would have in FSX?

AI flight plans always go into \Scenery\World\Scenery.

You can also create an AI traffic folder anywhere on your pc with whatever name you want to call it that has your traffic bgl's in it. Just be sure that the bgl's are in a scenery folder. Ie J:\I Traffic\scenery
Windows11 Pro
Intel i7 13700K
32gb G.Skill DDR4/3200
RTX 4080

This is where I have my flightplans. Scenery\World\Scenery

My AI Aircraft is in the folder "AI Aircraft" and I believe I made it visible.

Make sure that each set of flight plans is for FSX or P3D. If you have one set of plans for FS9, no aircraft will show up. Also, do you have parking spaces at your airports for the aircraft in your flight plans?
