Gmax gear animation question

I've been working slowly on a new project for a while now, a KAI T-50. By my modest FS9 standards, most things are going well, but I have one persistent problem for which I have run out of ideas.
The gear animation mostly works, with the exception of the main gear wheels. Although they behave properly in Gmax and in Martin's viewer, they do not fully rotate into their "down" position in the sim. I have experimented with gear compression for the first time, and although I think I've paid attention to the ratios, something isn't right.
The nose gear is fine, no issues, but the main gear wheels are not. Admittedly, they do have a slightly complex transition between KF0 and KF100 before the progression to full compression at KF200, so I wondered if that was at fault somehow. I think I've named everything correctly, but I'm missing something.
So, as I know that MAIW is very much alive, I thought I'd ask for your collective thoughts.
