Work continues.

Work continues on my Indian Air Force project.
I've been quite lucky in obtaining some nice AI aircraft as well as some fairly low poly flyables.
I'm currently working on AFCADs for 14 bases in India.
Scenery is hard to come by but the AFCADs will add some flavor to the area.
I've put together some fp's just to populate the bases.
When all the AFCADs are finished, I'll arrange the parking and put the aircraft at the correct bases.
Here are several shots up to this moment.
I hope you enjoy them.

Indeed, and maybe also for the SKJ IL-76. The guys that made this one may claim it's an AI friendly model, when I look at it I very much doubt that...

Can't check it out though... ACM doesn't seem to work on Vista

Well, I haven't loaded many of the IL76's into the sim yet.
Mind you, I'm still in the very early stages of adding aircraft and testing flight plans. :-)

I got it from a Russian site that claims it as an AI model, but how good is yet to be determined.
Here is the info from the cfg file:

description=Model by Varnavskiy Sergey ( tsimflight@narod.ru )\nPainting by Nikolai Samsonov (aka INS, instruktor@pisem.net)\nFlight Dynamics by Fedotov Alexander and Usachev Pavel (aka Usachev Pavel, unnt@list.ru)

BTW, can't I use ACM just to check out LOD's or must I register it?

Kev,

You can use the unregistred version of ACM to check out the polygons for each LOD. Let me know what you find for that IL-76. If it even has LOD's, because the 8 32bit reflective textures aren't that AI friendly either

The model is also on Avsim by the way, that's where I got the "AI friendly" description from

Here's a little ride that I stumbled across tonight.
Happy to have added it to my project.
