The Buff is on hold at the moment. There were some problems that could not be fixed so it has been put aside for the moment and we hope we can come back with a fresh set of eyes and fix the problems.

Why can’t they keep the colours in the bloody paint pots and just leave them grey

Graham, is the ai-b52 project to which you refer the same as the one aerogator has been working on?

Thanks.

Are you familiar with an old(?) 2004 package called b-52_ai by Dave O'Brien?
It may be based on Kotaro Akikawa's b52h2k2.zip models, which say "for FS
2002 only." I haven't tested any FS2002 ai aircraft, so I'm not familiar with
how they might behave.

Some FS2002 do work and some need new air files and aircraft.cfg to work in FS2004.

There is also a model by Yaetsu Yoshimitsu's & Hiroaki Kubota which you could substitute for which I have some repaints for. I think it came with a "Lite" version but not that light. The problem with the B-52's and AI has always been they are frame hogs and more than a few will slow down most people machines.

Thanks.

Yes, the Yoshimitsu/Kubota files are b52_dgh_x.zip and 52fullup.zip (on flightsim.com) and they do have AI .cfg and .air files.

Graham's repaints for b52_dgh_x.zip are within uai_b52_usaf.zip.

Thanks again...

I uploaded a Biggs Army Airfield AI package a while back and it has a buff ai. Whenever I start up at Holloman AFB, one is taxiing for takeoff, along with an AI C-5...

The one Graham is talking about is the one I use depending on your machine is how many fps it will eat up luckly mine will handle it I have all of Graham's repaints also A-10's flying out of KBAD with not to much problems. The repaints are at AVSIM and his web site.

I have buffs at Diego Garcia.
The airfile has the name, 'Yanco's B-52' and 'Yanco_KBT'.

5 different models.
5 different textures.
