Anyone heard of these?

Post by KevinJarvis »

I was recently chatting with a gentleman from South America. He contacted me wanting some flight plans written for some AI aircraft.
In order to point him in the right direction I asked what AI he was using.
Assuming he was talking military.
He told me he has a package called, "skAI" or something like that. He said it contains many AI models with flight plans.
I've done a search for this so called package and have not come up with anything at all.

I'm just trying to confirm the existance of this package and who's models are included. I don't want to work with or have anyone else working with models where permission has not recieved from the author.

Thanks,
KJ

Are you, perhaps, thinking of the SKJ Active AI Traffic System http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sergs.skj/ ... c/main.htm?

If so, he's "out of business" as far as I can tell. I think there are a couple threads here talking about his models and system.

Thanks guys.
I'll check with him to be sure.
They apparently are using som ProjectAI models. Some instructions tell the user to change the file name.
So I'm not sure how reliable this pack is.

Next step.
Contact PAI.

Thanks all.

Kev take a look at this site. I think they are talking about what your friend is using.

"Illegal"?

Is that the package the Korean guy "assembled" from then-available freeware packages a couple years ago and caused such a stir about?

Yep it is.
Uses all the freeware stuff like AIA, PAI, EvolveAI, TFS, AI Malcontent + repaints, there is even MAIW stuff inside
Nobody gave them permission for that, of course ...
