Mark did a solid job on the repaints which was the catalyst for me finishing up my KRDR AFCAD. Him, as well as Cowboy Marine provided the information and the rest was just plugging it in. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome... nobody is kickin' ass without tanker gas.

We're beginning work on another project in the not too distant future. 8)

Des, I'm keeping plenty busy!

Nice package.

5 minutes to install including 1 minute to convert the FS9 flightplan to FSX. 10 minutes to adjust my FSX afcad. Voila. A nice busy base!

The repaints are definitely quality. One question. Do these seem a bit darker gray than the repaints for the PAI KC-135s for Hickam? Just curious if it's my machine/monitor or the repaints themselves. I actually like the darker textures.

Good job.

A few comments specific to FSX/my installation - I use a slightly modified default afcad for FSX here because I like the placement of the default/autogen buildings in conjunction with the landclass I use. The biggest change necessary was having to make the parking spots's wingspan entries 75 feet due to the way that FSX parking specs differ from FS9. FSX uses a radius (half the wingspan) in feet entry and then converts that to meters, rounding upwards. 75 worked without wasting time figuring out exactly what the most accurate measurement is.

the paints i used were the ones included in the paint kit so they should be the same but maybe whoever did the hawaii package chose to use a lighter color...not sure i guess i could have to make them look more aged, but overall i was happy with them :)

Some painters will lighten/darken the grey base color on different models to give them a non uniform look. Actually it looks very realistic if they are all not exactly the same shade of grey.

Grand Forks repaints every plane upon returning to base, hence allowing a uniform look. :P

Great job, don't fly in ND much, but more the reason now to. Just one issue and it is probably my system. Flew around to check out the AI birds, followed another package KC-10, then broke off to head back to Grand Forks. When I arrived for the overhead, none of the 135's were there??? AI traffic next door at Grand Forks Intl. were still flying around. One massive formation take off???

did you resize the parking radius with Afcad from 44 to 34? thats the only thing i can think of, we didn't get permission to include the model so this is how we had to do it. let me know.

As stated, the radius for the KC-135R/T aircraft need to be changed to 34M. The readme covers the instructions to make the adjustment. Without being allowed to include the PAI KC-135 in the package, we were only able to include instructions to make the necessary changes.
