AI F-104 ??
Does anyone know if a Starfighter (preferably (T)F-104G) is available as AI, or perhaps of someone who is working on one ??

I really wish that I could answer in the affirmative, but alas no.
However, as our resident modelling genius will testify I have bugged him about this aircraft, and others, and I hope that one day it pays off. Occasionally I do manage to get a subject on his 'to do' list.

I use the Kazunori Ito F-104 as AI aircraft. The model itself is fine. The only problem it has is the behaviour as it usually swings in the air from left to right and back crashing all the time when landing causing it to disappear. Also it "jumps" on the ground from time to time. As I am not familiar with editing aircraft params I have found no solution so far

Sprocky, what you could try is using an air file from another AI single seater.
I would suggest Henry's F-16.
1. Make a copy of the StarFighter aircraft.cfg and keep it safe.
2. Copy "AI Lockheed F-16C.air" into the StarFighter folder.
3. Copy "aircraft.cfg" from the F-16 folder into the StarFighter folder
4. Open your new StarFighter "aircraft.cfg" and remove all the "[Fltsim.xx]" entries.
5. Remove all the items under "[Lights]"
6. Remove all the items under "[Contact Points]"
7. Open your old StarFighter "aircraft.cfg"
8. Copy and paste all items under "[Lights]" to the new aircraft.cfg under "[Lights]".
9. Copy and paste all items under "[Contact Points]" to the new aircraft.cfg under "[Contact Points]".
10.Copy and paste all the "[Fltsim.xx]" entries.
11.Change each "[Fltsim.xx]" entry so it reads:
sim=AI Lockheed F-16C
- this makes it use the F-16 air file rather than the old StarFighter one.
Save and restart FS and see if the behaviour changes for the better. If it does not try the same procedure with another AI aircraft.
If all else fails delete the .air file and copy your original StarFighter aircraft.cfg into the StarFighter folder.
A while since I have done this but I think the procedure is correct.
