As noted on the avsim front page, FSGenesis has released V2 downloads for the FSX version of its mesh relating to "Mexico". The name is a bit of a misnomer as the area covered is actually all of Central America - from the US/Mexican border to the Panama/Colombian border.
Details are three downloads to be manually installed, - 340MB, 243MB and 50MB executable files. My download speeds (while downloading 2 files at once) were up to 200kb/sec per stream, not too shabby.
Also available is a 4th file that is targetted at removing or minimizing "plateaus" at or near 50 airports in area covered.
I just finished the installation process and did some "representative" flights and am quite pleased with the result. For those of you who are "Galaxy members", I definitely recommend this update to your mesh/FSX setup. Justin has definitely succeeded with this.
Note: No, I am not a relative of Justin nor an employee of FSGenesis.
