It seems that this new package is causing quite a stir in the AI community.
People are asking about it all over.
So I'm letting everyone know about it and where to get it.
I'm pointing questions that people have to this site for answers.

Well then its having the effect that Nick was hoping for.

I wonder how many people are pulling apart the FDE to find out how it works :D .

I wonder how many of them will come over here asking why it doesn't work in "their other AI choppers"?? :D

I've already had one guy call it an 'effect'. I DID NOT tell him how it was done. That's Nicks area.

The guy did mention it was too bad it couldn't be adapted to other AI helos. And I was thinking, what other AI helos are there?

It cant be adapted to any other AI Helo's I'm afraid. The FDE could but the hop-up take-off effect cannot, its hard wired into the model. You'll see the same effect come with the Chinook, and it looks even better on her I feel.

I knew someone in the know would correct me...

Thanks MACC.

I guess I should have stated what other AI helo's are there that fly like a helo should.

I sure hope that someone figures out how those turbine engined AI helicopter FDE's work as I for one would love to know.

All kidding aside, my new turbine engined AI FDE's for both the NBAI Apache and Chinook are each tuned to their specific models with Nick's unique takeoff animation and anyone that tries to use them with any other helicopters will be very disappointed. :D

Well from what I'm reading everyone likes the Apache. Now that we have given them a taste of that can be I'm sure lot's of folks will be chomping at the bit for more.
Guess they'll have to be patient...LOL.

@Kevin Reed-Kevin you'll have to finish the Osprey model now as I think the team could get its flight behaivor worked out with what everyone has learned so far.

Yep, VERY VERY tricky Nick

Very First thing I did was try the Flight Model on one of my other AI helo's with the intention of converting / moding them all cause it looks SO good!
Like you said, it didn't work :( :( :(
Then I looked at the model and realised the takeoff sequence was hard wired into the model animation itself.
VERY sharp !
You are definitely the AI model master!

An Osprey would be nice.
I had the chance to get inside one last weekend.
Much smaller than I anticipated.
But really cool.

Yep, walked thru one at NAS Pensacola a few years ago, much smaller than I thought. I have a whole slew of non AI H-60's needing a rework, I know....down the road.
