AI Nord N262E

Post by MACC »

Well i started this in the afternoon, so sorry about the requests lol.
I'm already planning that after this will be the Su27 and MB339.

This is an aircraft i have only seen once, but i would love to see more, it's such an elegant old aircraft.

Cockpit needs sorted and i will need help from some of the big boys on animation.

Thanks,
Macc

From wiki I saw 15 of them are still in service with the French Naval Air Force. Go ahead with your project. Would love to deploy them in my sim :smt023

Any of the Master Modellers be able to help me with animations.
Its just the one question for now.
Do you have to have a seperate shape or can you just select seperate polygons to move for animations.
i.e flaps.

thanks,
Macc

I'm thrilled that MACC is gonna make the SU-27. Plus, the Nord has a nice paint job.

Ive restarted this, but in FSDS, so far i have modelled the main fuselage, wings and part of the engines and only used 800 polys.
When i get back from holiday i will get a screenshot :)

At this moment only the French "Marine" is still using the N262E so it's rapidly becoming a rare bird. We had one at EHAM last week, love that sound !

Here is some screenies of my Nord 262, currently it is at 1418 polys.

Nick, Rysiek or co., how do i make all the edges closed because i accidentaly hadn't selected closed for all edges on a few areas. or does this mean i have to redo the fuselage wheels etc again?

Looks cool Macc, although the windshield and nose would need some adjusting.
Here's 2 pics I took of the N262 that was at AMS few weeks ago, perhaps it helps...
