AVSIM.ru MIG-25

Post by Ford Friendly »

Could someone check this out for me please?

There appears to be an AI Mig-25 package on avsim.ru.
Filename: 13332_AI-MiG-25.zip
Author/modeller Sergey Bunevich aka sib2217

The readme says "The nominal number of ranges on ÀÑÌ is equal:
Model 25- 1535
25Ð- 1903
25PD-2215"
which I take to mean is the number of polygons per model/lod.

What I need someone who has the time and software to check, please, is is it a true multi-lod model and are those actually the polygon counts or have I/the author translated the sentence incorrectly?

Read me also says "
Discussion at a forum http://www.avsim.ru/forum/index.php?sho ... ntry824858" if you are interested.

Oh, and this thing even has 2 paintkits in it - a Photoshop one and a PSP one.

Thanks.

All the models are single LOD and the poly count is as you state

25 has 1535 poly
25P has 1903 poly and
25PD has 2215 poly.

The paint kits are multi layer....
Which way is up?

I have this model but have not yet installed it.

I'll let you know what I find out as soon as I can.

Thanks guys. Those seem low poly enough for reasonable use - until something better (and currently being worked on) is finished. ;P
