Wow! That's the best news in days (after Obama won the elections)
Really looking forward to the release!

Any news of a Tu-160?

I think there's some in the Tolmachevo Traffic Pack from avsimrus. Just confirmed: Yes, there are.
Don't know what their ai credentials are, but they work on my lowly system...
They have Tu-95s too! Not to mention some other beauties, like An-22 and Be-12.
I still haven't got round to making flightplans that will send the Bears over the North Sea towards our shores. Apparently they still do things like that now and again. See the Wikipedia article:

I have that TU-160 but its a bit crude compared to today's AI standards.
BTW has anyone got this TU-22 showing up in the sim? I've added it but doesn't appear at any of its bases.

I know nothing about such AI project
yet

Ouch, maybe there is a radius and/or flightplan issue?
I should call for Sergey
Tolmachevo Traffic Pack - planes there do not seem to be a true AI.
Anyway -

Hi Rysiek It was a stupid typo in the FP. The a/c had the wrong title so they could not be found in the sim!
I guess I will have to wait for the tu-160

Guys,
I would suggest that you add AvsimRus to your bookmarks.
I check this site everyday and always find something interesting.
One of my favorites is the videos the upload. You'll see some things on there that you won't see anywhere else.
Plus tons of files for eastern european aircraft.

Guys,
The SBAI Tu-22M-3 uses a derivative, fx_sbai_tu22m3_ab.fx, of Steve Holland's afterburner effect for the NBAI F-15C/D/E, fx_nbai_F15_ab.fx, and as such requires the 4 afterburner effect textures that Steve used with this effect file. I forgot to provide these to Sergey with the SBAI Tu-22M-3 FDE that I created for him, so if you don't have any of the NBAI F-15C/D/E models and their afterburner effect and texture files installed you will need to install the textures included in the zip file below into your FS9 Effects texture folder.

I agree Kevin, some wonderful stuff there. I've d/l an AI AN-70 which I've not seen before.

I think that it was mentioned earlier that there is a aircraft title error in the aircraft txt files. You will need to amend them and recompile.

I did a quick check and found that the mdl is set to 33m radius, when in fact in real life it should be 22m. If you alter the mdl size that may solve your problem.

How do you change the mdl radius?
