F/A-18F refueling Navys newest addition, the EA-18G Growler

Post by Paul »

F/A-18F refueling Navys newest addition, the EA-18G Growler. Since I've been working on an AFCAD for China Lake, thought I'd take to the sky and do a refueling training exercise. I used the recorder for these pics since there are no good AI F/A-18's out yet. I hope you enjoy

Here's a few more of an awesome repaint of a VFA-203 "Blue Dolphins" I found the other day.

Some excellent shots there - just shows what you can do with a little time and patience to get the shot you need. Nice :D

Hi John,

Adam is right, it is the Team FS KTB Super Hornet "F" version found over at avsim or flightsim file name fa-18f.zip There are alot more repaints at flightsim than avsim, just do a search for Super Hornet. I also used Team FS KTB Super Hornet EA-18G Growler, also found at both sites file name is ea-18g.zip

Oh, and by the way they welded the cockpits closed to keep the framerates down.

That's the ONE thing I don't like about that model. Everything else is beautiful, lot's of moving parts etc. All it needs is a good soundset (I'm using the IRIS F-14 sounds  ) and this model would be perfect. Get it if you don't have it.

Thanks guys, I also got the RCAF textures. Pity there isn't A or B model available for FS9 (unless someone know different)!

I've recently done a heap of repaints for the Team KBT F/A18 E and F models for the RAAF. They are available only on Avsim.

There are still more in the works as I receive updated information on them. The repaints will work with all of there models, full flight - multiplayer and super light-AI versions.

I changed the panel due to CTD's with the one that came with the E-model on my PC.
