The US CBP now has 5 wings along the norther border, with one of them at Selfridge. I was wondering if anyone has done any repaints for some of the aircraft that they use? I would like to make flightplans for the aircraft which are available.

CBP aircraft:

Cessna C210
Cessna C550
C-12
EC-120
AS350B3
UH-60

Matt are they going to have any UAV's out of Selfridge?? I've seen recent job postings for UAV operator positions, but I think those are out of Minot AFB or somewhere up there.

UH-60 repaint over at Hovercontrol.com for the HC Blackhawk (non-AI).

It's not planned as of yet... However I have heard rumors in the past about higher ups in the Michigan ANG wanting to get into the UAV business.
I believe Grand Forks AFB is the one recieving CBP Predators now. Were you thinking of applying to one of those UAV positions?

It seems the AF is having a hard time getting pilots to take those jobs.

Oh, and I can't help but notice some AI CH47s in your sig.... I havent been around for a while, is that going to be released any time soon? They would go nicely at Selfridge.

Grand Forks, that's it, I couldn't remember where it was. No, I'm not thinking about it. Some people might opt for that until the aviation field turns around again. Problem is that UAV's are so new that no one really knows how a potential employer down the road will look at UAV operator time.

Now if I could operate the thing from my laptop...........then we could talk.

Hmmm, I may end up just using all-white paints for whatever AI a/c are available.

I believe that most of their Cessnas are white. so that bled in with other GA aircraft

Ya that's why I figured white would be close enough for me.... just check out Selfridge's aircraft- lot's of white in there! (ignoring the blackhawk

)
