Friday afternoon, The “Bear Aces” of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron ONE TWO FOUR (VAW-124), which flies the E-2C “Hawkeye,” returned to Chambers Field on Naval Station Norfolk.
Arriving at NAS Oceana in Va. Beach were the “Valions” of Strike Fighter Squadron ONE FIVE (VFA-15), flying F/A-18 Hornets; the “Blacklions” of Strike Fighter Squadron TWO ONE THREE (VFA-213) flying F/A-18 Super Hornets; Strike Fighter Squadron EIGHT SEVEN (VFA-87), the “Golden Warriors”, F/A-18 Hornet, and the “Tomcatters” of Strike Fighter Squadron THREE ONE (VFA-31) flying F/A-18 Super Hornets.
