Albacete, UK Apaches and McConnell plus Tu-22...

Post by james84 »

I haven't been using FS since last month because of exams, but tonight I wanted to do some spotting to catch MAIW's latest releases...

Lucky enough to get bot the tigers in one shot!

Apaches at Kandahar...

... and a cropped image from Wattisham (noticed the serious elevation problem at Middle Wallop - I installed the replacement BGL but I didn't test it as FS2004 takes 15 minutes to load!)

McConnell - I don't like the 707, but I love Vipers, and here are four with different tails! Just didn't expect it (great scenery BTW)!

But there are KC-135s there...

The last one: SBAI Tu-22M3 at Dyagelevo AB (UYWT - scenery available on Avsim.ru). The SBAI model has FPs for five bases (one of which in Ukraine) but the aircrafts taxi to the runway and don't takeoff! Maybe an afcad problem?

Hope you like them! Good night!

Stunning Shots James, just stunning. It always gives me great pride when I see stuff like this. People enjoying my models and paints etc, as much as I have enjoyed making them, thank you so much for sharing these shots.

I had the same prob when I loaded this scenery and its fairly easy to fix:
the hold-short nodes are too far away from the runway, all you need to do is move them up so that the outer circle bisects the centre-line of the runway.

A couple of Tu-22 shots. Thanks to petebramley and kungfuman for the advice on how to modify the UYWT afcad file!

Its the scenery that comes with the package by the looks of it, from our scenery libraries. Present day setting.
