AFCAD problem

Post by johncattell »

I have recently installed FSX and Acceleration on a new PC. Currently I am finding that some of the military AFCADS that I previously used with FSX SP1 do not work properly now with Acceleration. With both the AF2 files for EGQK - RAF Kinloss and EGWU - RAF Northolt (there may be more) when carrying out an ILS landing, the localiser brings the aircraft down well to the right of the runway. These AFCADS are FS9 of course and I have not been able to find FSX AFCAD files for these RAF bases.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well our particular area of support is FS9 so you will have to wait until somebody with FSX wanders past to help with specifics.
However, as a simple test have you tried converting the afcads to an FSX friendly form using something like ADE?

If you don't know what ADE is or how to do this, no problem. Just let us know and that is something that an FSX guy can help you out with to.
