Lemoore

Post by Rotten Ralph »

Just out of interest, how many squadrons of F-18s on average would be there at any one time, just to keep it as close to real world as possible?
Another superb package by the way guy`s, many thanks to all involved.

This is where we need some help from the users who would know more about this than any of us on staff really do. The squadrons always seem to be in some sort of state of getting ready to deploy aboard a carrier, actually deployed on the carrier, or just getting back.

What we would like to do is to create a sticky thread somewhere, where the information can be posted about which squadron is where and at what time. That way you can add/remove the appropriate traffic files as needed.

P.S. Sorry about the screwup with the packaging, that was my fault. It's being fixed as I type this.

Seventeen more minutes according to my FTP client until the thing is completely uploaded again.

I'm regretting switching to the less expensive internet service..... Upload speeds are slooooooow.

You are looking at at least 3 squadrons per air wing (general squadron mix is 2 Supers/1 Legacy, including 2 boat going USMC squadrons from MCAS Miramar), and that information is out on the web.

Just had a brain storm.
I counted how many F18 aircraft were there on google earth (95), divided that by 12-14 (normally how many in a fighter squadron) and came up with approx 6-8 squadrons at any one time. I did not see how many were in the hangers so I think that 6 - 8 squadrons would be about right?

All I know is that all 290 Hornets will not do your FPS any favors. :smt003

But at least we give you guys the choice.

Thirteen minutes and counting.....
