Going back to another discussion around here that relates to how you can hide certain parts of certain models using an alpha channel, this would be an example of a model where that technique would NOT work. This model has been compiled to be reflective as you can see by its shinyness. Some models are not compiled as reflective and you can indeed use an alpha channel technique to hide certain parts.
