CBP - Not Exactly Military

Post by Joecoastie »

Not military, but they have a rough job and little support.

I've been making a few repaints and flight plans for the US Customs and Border Protection.
They should be on avsim shortly, FWIW.

Great job Joe, looking forward to these as my hopeful future employer! I have the FAB-AI AS350/UH-1 that could use a CBP repaint as well.

Try searching for Chris "Elvis" Jones, he did a great AI AS350, I just don't remenber where I found it. Lewis

PS Tried to send it to you but it is a little bigger than whats allowed, I will repack it into 2 smaller packs and PM them to you.

PS 2 No luck. Still one file stays bigger than the 256 allowed. I will e-mail to you.

Looks good, if I can ever get the time to finish up the MQ-9 I've been working on, I will definitely be doing a USCBP package with it. Maybe we can get some of your work in the package as well.

I would be honored to be a contributor to an MAIW package. Graham has allowed me to use one of his paintkits and am in process of updating the paint job on one of the CBP P-3's that came with the Corpus Christi package.

Lewis - I'll look for the "Elvis" AS-350 . . thanks .

For any one that D/L'd the CBP Pilatus file from avsim, I found that I had screwed up the flight plan for N593PC (PC-12).
Here's one that works.

Very nice job on the paints Joe, got them up and running in my sim now. This led me to using different resource sites to find out all the other airframes they operate that could become an AI package. Trying to make flightplans after I figure out the repaints, but I have noticed they stopped posting plans on flightaware.com now, mainly the Citations and Dash 8's.
