RAAF Base Townsville

I tried altering the afcad for RAAF Base Townsville to add military and civil parking but failed anyone wanna take up the project and add scenery and proper buildings to it

If you install VOZ 1.8 you will have a nice little Townsville with commercial terminal, GA hangers and military sections. Townsville is basically only a helo base now full time, all else is just passing through.
I have no plans to update Townsville for at least three years.

they do have c130's come and go all the time one of my dads mates he served with in the RAAF when we went back taustralia to visit the folks said so

My friend, like I said they are just passing through. The C-130 resides at RAAF Base Richmond and operate under Squadron 37. You will see them come and go from even the most remote township airstrips in Australia from time to time. Of couse you will see them at Townsville, they deliver parts and other equipment to the small base which still up keeps the shelters for F/A18 and so on when on games.

Isn't 38 sqn still based at RAAF Townsville with the Kingairs they got from the Army?
Barely worth mentioning I admit...

Since the standing down of the Caribou, 38sqn now has a tiny amount of King Air 350. They are mainly seen at RAAF Base Richmond and Amberley, although there home base is supposed to be Townsville.
