Job Opening at Tonopah Test Range Airfield Control Tower

I thought this was interesting, considering the recent release of Nellis and the NTTR. Tonopah is looking for bodies in the tower.

THAT would be amazing...except Tonopah is WAY out of the way from anywhere. I worked for a bit north of there (Hawthorne). But I'd be you have some amazing stories.

It's not often that you see any advertising for TTR. Worked there quite a few time over the last 11 years, that's about all I can say. :smt018

Jeez that's so cool!!

I wonder if they'd fly you to and from Vegas every day on Janet??? Then it would be worth doing. Otherwise accomodations nearby would be a hellish experience. Even living in Beatty would be horrific for a family HEHE.

Beatty is pretty sad...stayed there for 2 weeks working in the Armagosa valley. Janet option would be even more exciting.

I would imagine it would be like any remote facility, you would fly up on monday and fly back on friday, or what ever your schedule might be. I think that whole local area looks a tad depressing.
