I was wondering if any of your sceneries contain alert hangers similar to the ones in the photo.
Thanks,
Ken

Yes, look for the West Coast Air National Guard package. In it, there is bonus scenery for the ANG portion of KPDX. It has some of those style shelters.

I just made something like that, too.

Re: Alert Hangers
Ok, thanks.
I didn't have PDX ANG installed because I have Flightzone PDX. I'll check it out.
Thanks,
Ken

Re: Alert Hangers
I did check out the file "Portland ANG Object Library". I saw it had the single shelters but not the quad alert barn. I did find something useful in the Kingsley ANG Library.
If I wanted to use an object for my own use but wanted to color it a different color, is that acceptable? Also what program would be useful to do that?
Thanks,
Ken

Re: Alert Hangers
For your own personal use, as long as you don't plan to re-distribute it, yes that's fine. You would need a graphics editing proggy like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop to be able to edit the texture file.
BTW, we have a nice gaggle of scenery modelers on the team these days. If you make a specific request for an object. One of the guys might be kind enough to make it for you. I would do it but I don't have my main machine up and running right now.

Re: Alert Hangers
MikeG,
Thanks for the reply. I do not own photoshop or paint pro. I just purchased FSDS but have not had time to mess with it at all. I enjoy re-doing air force bases and ANG airports. Also re-doing a couple of old closed AFB's. My tools are Instant Scenery (and all the libraries), ADE9 and X and Sbuilder for the airport footprint. I just to use LWMViewer 2 for the landclass, but since I upgraded to Windows 7 64bit, I cannot get LWMViewer 2 to work.
If any of you talented scenery designers would like to tackle those alert hangers, well I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Ken
