Carrier AI problem
Carrier AI problem
I've put two runways on a carrier, one along the bow cat and one along the landing area. Set the first, in afcad, to takeoff only and the second to landing only. They take off perfectly, looks great but they keep landing back on the bow runway. Is there some other way to force them to use the correct runways?
Re: Carrier AI problem
Two separate afcads, different ICAO designations, take off from one and land at the other.

How about marking the bow one closed for landing?
Dont know but worth a try.

Re: Carrier AI problem
What is the separation between the true heading of the two runways? - more than 7.9 degrees and you need to add fake x-wind runways to make both active at the same time.
Also, you need a start location on the landing runway for AI to use it properly. Do you have one?

Re: Carrier AI problem
Thanks for the replies. I've tried 'em all and no go. I'm gonna give it one last shot using ADE9X instead of AFCAD to see if it makes a difference. If that don't work I'll more than likely use the two AFCADS method because the takeoffs are really bugging. me
