Welzow for SU24 ai pack

Post by ian elliot »

I thought you guys might be intrested in some scenery ive just uploaded to Flightsim and the Simouthouse, originally i just made up an Afcad for the SU24 ai pack on Ray Parkers site but thing just snowballed into a full blown scenery project, the ai is not included but links are provided in the read-me, and ive used a mixture of Maiw librarys, my own objects and some great api i found on Avsimrus.
Ive never posted before but im a great fan and user of Maiw projects and i guess this is my small way of giving something back to the community.
thanks for some great projects, cheers ian

This sounds too familiar with me.

Great work Ian. I tested the scenery last night and it looks really nice.
However I found a small issue: whenever I tried to taxi through the wood my aircraft crashed.
I suppose the trees were done as a scene in GMAX or FSDS and it might just be a compiler setting when exporting the model?

Sorry about the crashing Hawk, the trees , although using stock textures, are acctually blocks of trees, 4 seperate mdl objects made with FSDS, 5 , 10, 50 and 100 trees, make life easyer when laying down large amounts, i guess i didnt occure to me about crash ditection, i never fly with it on anyway.
thanks for the feeback, cheers ian
