I am currently running FSX with Acceleration, Windows 7 64x. I use WOI but I do not convert traffic files to FSX format. I installed a couple of the WOAI Military files and they seem to work ok. Can I do the same for the traffic files here on MAIW or will I need to convert.
Thanks for the help

Re: Question on FSX
Hello and welcome,
MAIW packages are for FS2004, but there is a dedicated support thread for FSX users

Re: Question on FSX
MAIW traffic files are also in FS9 format. You can keep all your WoA and MAIW traffic files in FS9 format if you wish.
The only negative is the days of the week are off by one. In FS9 the days are Sunday - 0, Monday - 1, Tuesday - 2, etc. In FSX the days are Monday - 0, Tuesday - 1, Wednesday - 2, etc.
If the traffic file calls for no flights on days 0 and 6 - Sunday and Saturday in FS9 - then the military units will not fly on Monday and Sunday in FSX.

Re: Question on FSX
Don't mix them, though! If you mix FS9 and FSX file formats you'll lose your AI.
