C-130A 3 Bladed

Post by avp »

I am doing a retro of LFOE Évreux-Fauville AB for the mid 50s to early 60s and wondering if there is a 3 bladed C-130A model out there somewhere. These were present starting in the 1957 with the 465th Troop Carrier Wing which began converting from the C-119 to the C-130As as well as the 317th Troop Carrier Wing starting in 1958. I am really just looking for a model with the 3 blades, I can get them painted.

Thanks.

I made a static one as a gate guardian for my Schenectady scenery package. I could spend some time swapping out the props on my "H" AI model, but I would need to create new discs and animate them through the LODs. That takes time and I'm working on another project at the moment. I'm not in any case, designing for FS9.

I don't know if there is an older MAIW model you could use.

On a related note, if there were to be a C-130A it would be cool to see one with the original stub nose... Just a thought...

Thanks John, I surely wouldn't want you delayed on your existing projects as they are important to the community. I was just hoping someone new of a 3 bladed A model as I couldn't locate one similar to
this in Wikipedia

I can always use the H model if no 3 bladed version is found.
