The Aérospatiale Gazelle (SA 340, SA 341 and SA 342) is a French five-seat helicopter, commonly used for light transport, scouting and light attack duties. It is powered by a single Turbomeca Astazou turbine engine and was the first helicopter to feature a Fenestron tail rotor. It was designed by Sud Aviation, later Aérospatiale, and manufactured in France and the United Kingdom through a joint production agreement with Westland Aircraft. Further manufacturing under license was performed by SOKO in Yugoslavia and the Arab British Helicopter Company (ABHCO) in Egypt. The subject of this package are the Gazelles produced by SOKO for the Balkan Air Forces. 4 model variations are included with a total of 34 paints. Relevant scenery and flight plans enable the operation of these AI helicopters in FS9. A separate package for FSX/P3D has been uploaded in parallel.

The AgustaWestland AW109, originally the Agusta A109 is a lightweight, twin-engine, eight-seat multi-purpose helicopter built by the Italian manufacturer Leonardo S.p.A. Used in various roles, including light transport, medevac, search-and-rescue, and military, the A109 has been in continuous production for 40 years. The A109 models complete my Saab -105 (SK60) package at Malmen Air Base, Sweden. The airfield has a dedicated helicopter ramp and runway that is shared between UH-60 Black Hawks and A109/ LUH’s (referred to as Hkp15A and Hkp15B, the B version being for naval use). The Black Hawks are already included in the Saab -105 package. Also included in the A109 package are the 18 A109BA examples of the Belgian Air Force that have a fixed undercarriage and other differences. Also in the package are the 5 active examples of The Royal New Zealand Air Force – the same as the Swedish LUH variant, but with the addition of a winch. Flight plans are included, as is scenery, or scenery links. The flight plans also enable NH90 helicopters, co-located with the A109’s in Belgium and New Zealand, from Lukas Hermanovsky and John Tenn, Separate packages are available in FS9 and FSX native code in the MAIW Download Hangar.

This package was developed by Mins, using a JYAI AH-1F Cobra model adapted for him from the JGSDF “S” model. He has painted 20 aircraft and developed scenery and a flight plan to operate them from. The scenery has the fictitious name RKH1, but the layout is broadly similar to the airfield seen at the sim location in the satellite image in Google Maps. A package for FSX/P3Dv4 is in MINJYAI_AH-1F_Cobras_FSX_1.zip.

This package features 96 V-22 Ospreys, of the USMC, including the Presidential (HMX-1) Squadron and the USAF 522 SOW at Mildenhall UK. The models are in FSX native code to enable more efficient use in FSX compared to the previously released FS9 models. These FSX models are also compatible with P3Dv4. The scenery for the USMC aircraft at MCAS Miramar is also included and links to 5 other sceneries are provided in the manual that can be used with the other aircraft. Converted files to enable use in P3Dv4 are included thanks to the original authors.
