Actually scrap that idea. Do you want to start with the 31st FW that I've been working on this week already, 555th and 510th Fighter Squadrons???

I like the idea of doing the overseas F-16 bases first. So maybe start with Aviano and these Block 40 Vipers since we haven't released that model yet? That's a better use of everyone's time IMO.

I would just need a quick tweak to the Aviano paint kit to get you started.

How does that sound? Plus it's not as many textures as Shaw.

Sounds Ok to me. Will you include the tail numbers that are used? Just to make sure, this is the paint kit,

Love seeing the Have Glass now, sure these will convert over to FSX/P3D when available. Scramble and F-16.net helped as I had to find the new homes for the Viper units that moved over to the Fat Amy (F-35). A few tails ended up in Aviano.

Glad you are somewhat back MIKE JG, and great Vans build going. I was waiting to make it to mainline and start my own or go the bush style Kitfox route.

Mike - Main diff Block 50 v 40....

No IFF, WAR HUD, and 2 seaters (even USAF) have the extra monitor for the rear seat?

Lewis let me send you one specifically made for Aviano's F-16s. That's the right one but it's not specific for Aviano just yet. The description layer explains all of the various layers and what they're for. Allows for a lot of customization from one texture to the next.

Also you will need to go online and do a search for the font "Amarillo USAF" or "Amarillo". That is the font most used on US military aircraft. Looks like your version of PSP substituted another font for Amarillo probably because you don't have the font on your computer. I didn't have it either and had to download it. You should be able to find and download it for free. I forget where it goes on your computer but you can Google that as well. There's a folder somewhere on the OS that holds all of the various fonts.

I will get you the Aviano serials.

Yep I think I've got all the changes made to the model. Funny you posted this cause I had to go back through our threads and research what the differences were! I had forgotten over the last few years. So yep, the HUD, the lack of bird slicers and the rear seat repeater display. The textures also have the strengthening plates layers that you made for them.

Especially considering you're just using 4 LODs, you'd only really need to remove the bird slicers and change the other parts in LOD1. Very easy to convert to a Block 40/42 or even Block 30/32.

On another note, been having a look at some of the textures that people have created for the DCS Viper. Holy cow those guys are good.

Now just to figure out how to view those .dds files...... :smt003

Lewis, spent the afternoon working on the fin flash for this D model only to realize that this is a one off fin flash....

So will finish the Aviano paint kit either this evening or tomorrow and get it to you.

Lewis I just sent you the paint kit to do the rest of the C models for the 555th FS. I will make another one for the 510th FS when I get a chance. I included the serial numbers in that email.

If you have any questions just ask. Thanks!

It's probably slightly different. I'll email you the most current one. It's different for different air forces.

Which version do you need, USAF or foreign air forces??

87-0359
88-0425
88-0435
88-0446
88-0460
88-0526
88-0532
89-2001
89-2016
89-2023
89-2024
89-2039

89-2068
89-2096
89-2118

They've only got a single D model which I've already done and there are two special tails which I will do as well, those serials have been removed from this list
