Drew,

As a result of your post I went digging and I can't find anything obvious about a difference in length.
One thing that may stand out more would be the difference in wingspan. Didn't the Australian ones have a much wider wingspan?

Yep, the C and G both have the longer wings. I already have a set of original short wings stashed somewhere, so that won't be any trouble. Hopefully.

I'm betting the F and C differences are to do with ASE fits, not the fuselage itself! The B is obviously shorter (it had the short nose to fit on carrier elevators) and the EF had the big antenna on the fin.

Aha! I think I've found it. I was poking around on FB-111A.net and found a discussion section where someone's asked the exact same question. >>>Link<<<
From what I can gather, it looks like the books took their measurement from the test aircraft with a longer pitot tube (or maybe the test instrumentation boom?) and there's no difference in the fuselage length.
That's a relief!

I was trying to get you the info from the horse's mouth at YAMB but everybody I know who could properly answer this question are difficult to get hold of at present time.
It would seem your own research has found the answers you were asking.

No worries Mark, things are probably still a bit chaotic up there! Appreciate the effort though.

I was gonna take some screenshots of the new G model changes, but my computer has decided to go into spaz mode again and I can't get it to boot properly. Well, to be more accurate, it boots into XP, but when I try to open anything it bluescreens and restarts. If I can get it to do a "good boot" it'll be fine until I shut it down again.
All because I dared to shut it down overnight with storms around!
*sigh*

Drew,
It's still a bit humid and sticky up this way that's for sure but looking much better than last week.
When you finally move to Queensland we may have to take your PC on a fishing trip out into the bay, that should fix the blue screen problem once and for all but at least you'll come home with an esky full of bluefin tuna and mackerels'.

I have a mate that has a PC that goes into blue screen when ever he tried to update to XP SP3 but works fine with XP SP2, strange that.

I've been very tempted indeed to do something like that with this machine, I can tell you! The window next to it has been the most tempting target. The fishing part sounds good though!
Last night, after eliminating everything else, I decided it had to be the CPU or the motherboard. So I ripped the whole thing apart (again) and reseated the CPU and put new thermal paste on. It worked first go after that, but I still haven't been game to shut it down overnight, lol.

Anywho, back on topic, I've been busy today:

3 variations so far - I'm building up a collection of parts for all the variants before I start on the LODs.
They don't look all that different in this shot, but there are a host of small differences and one major one.

They look fantastic Drew, I cant wait to beta test these babies.
I still have your earlier test version flying around my test sceneries, I just don't have the heart to delete it until the next test airframe update is ready.

Oh, you mean like this? :P

I started on it last night, but getting the tail pod to shade into the tail nicely is proving to be a pain. Then there are the other lumps and bumps to go! :)

Mike...2014?!?! I don't think I can work under that sort of pressure! 2020 maybe.

These things sure do have a few lumps and bumps, but I think I got them all.

Couple more WIP shots...

Actually, I did leave a couple of bumps off... those circular ones on the top and side of the nose, like in this pic: http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Ai ... 0726431/L/
I've only found a couple of pics of Ravens with those, anyone know what they are and if I should include them?
