Having suffered several problems with the Saitek X52 and Windows 7 Ultimate [64 bit] I recently upgraded to Window 8 PRO [64 bit] , reinstalled the Saitek software and the latest vid drivers and the problems have gone...
I used to have to unplug and then plug the stick back in for it to start working again, several times during a flight :roll: [which was a pain].. now it works as it should, and the graphics are better and clearer.. well worth the £41 upgrade [with a delivered disk].

PS: Windows 8 PRO is pretty cool in a lot of other ways as well :wink:
Time travel does exist, i just discovered it next week...
