We did a base visit to NAS Meridian just to see the resident T-45's, I was in for a shock when we got to the end of the runway where they were practising carrier landings & told we could stand right next to the runway, something i'll remember for a very long time is a T45 giving it the beans right next to us around 15ft away.
What a surprise! Love seeing the Meridian birds. The ole' Hawk just doesn't look right with the twin nosewheels, still would love to have a few hours in one just to play around.

You're right it does look a little silly but the rest still looks quite good to me

It was an organised tour with a group based in the Netherlands. They are all military aircraft enthusiasts so all their tours are based around the military stuff in whatever country they're in at the time. They're also who I go with when I go to places like Kazakhstan & Russia. Should be going to Japan next year with them as well
