Does anyone one have any tips for aligning AFCAD runways with existing scenery? I am playing around with AFCAD and Flight1's Airport Facilitator X and I have always had problems getting AFCAD runways to align properly.
For example, I am working with Just Flight's Lossiemouth for the RAF Tornado package. I was able to move the BGL file to the approx location of the scenery but I am having problems aligning the runway from the BGL to the actual scenery. Can anyone offer any tips?

Use an aircraft of appropriate size and slew to your positions.
Have AFCAD locked onto FS9 as you do this.
This way you can drop nodes exactly where you place the aircraft.

Not quite what I had in mind; I was talking about the runways themselves, not the aircraft parking. I did figure out how to do it. Thanks though.

He was actually suggesting putting a node at each end of the runway for alignment purposes.
Which way is up?

Oh, I see. I actually was playing around with Filght1's Airport FacilitatorX. That was my work around. I'll have to give that a shot with AFCAD.

Sorry I didn't explain in better detail.
But I think Graham said it well.
