Holiday traveling got a little more hectic for some when passengers and crew were evacuated Tuesday morning after smoke seeped into the cockpit of a plane on the tarmac at Bush Intercontinental Airport.
The incident occurred about 10 a.m. and was declared under control about 10 minutes later, said Jay Evans, a spokesman for the Houston Fire Department.
