Leonardo M346

Post by miljan »

I know that many of you already know that I am working on this great aircraft. Just wanted to share preview with you guys and give some details.
So far most of the parts are done and textured.Still , I need to cut main gear bay and to figure out how to animate them as it's so far the most challenging thing to do for me. I will try to add as much details as I can together with chute version used by Polish Air Force as it's my targeted country. I am East and Central Europe fan as you know :)
Also completely new set of panel lines and shadows will be done comparing to Yak-130,some parts are mapped on different place so it will not be possible to use same paintkit as for Yak-130.

Ok, it's just a model but perhaps it can be useful...

This is gear type used on prototypes , on serial aircraft it's more complex , made of 3 separate bay doors two connected to landing gear 😊

It's not the real movement... Later will send a series of shots with the correct sequence.

Hi Miljan, I've asked on an Italian forum if someone have a sequence of shots of the gear retraction.
Have a look here:

Hope this help.

Very first preview from apron. All parts have been added and animations done. Few days of testing and making paintkit and I should start doing LODs
