Glasgow AFB

Post by supernova48 »

Just wanted to say thanks for the AI B-52. I decided to quickly tweak Glasgow AFB (07MT) since it doesn't really have any traffic going to it. As an Air Force brat I spent two years there between 1964-1966. The attached screenshot contains some quickly added hangers and buildings and a basic photoscenery background. The four B-52D's on the ramp are from the 91BW stationed there. Now all I need is 907th Air Refueling Squadron KC-135A's (coming soon?) and F-101's for the 13th FIS (my father's squadron). I have seen the F101 Voodoo tease in these forums.

Again thanks for the great retro AI aircraft.

I'm betting Mark W. has Glasgow covered. Just a matter of time. :smt002

My very second rate AFCAD is already on the back burner. It will still do for testing though until
the good stuff comes through :D

Nothings ever second rate Pete.

Better to have something that wasn't available before to get the aircraft rolling. Looking forward to it.
