Matrix "Timeline switching" (feasibility request !!)

Following John's new work on Tornadoes, and the availability of different models in relation to the different historical period (retro / current), I would like to ask the creators of Matrix, if it were possible to create a command, which allows to select a specific historical period (or time band ie: 60', 90, actual ) automatically enabling the various versions (or certain aircraft) of that historical period, and the related traffic files.
This would allow you to fully appreciate the fantastic aircraft in the right historical context, allowing you to fly with aircraft no longer in use, in the maximum of realism.

Sounds interesting.

It could be done, but I'm putting it on the nice-to-have list for now due to the massive amount of work that is involved.
