Is there a method or program of checking to see if an aircraft for FSX will work in FS9?

No aircraft made in FSX native code will work in FS9. The animations and any parts with visibility settings are coded completely differently. The .dds textures are also incompatible.

I don't know if MCX will convert from FSX to FS9, but the process could be quite complex.
